Another car that Irish families took to their hearts as soon as it went on sale. The first Zafira completely changed the market thanks to its clever way of managing seating and luggage space. Either could be increased or reduced at the merest push of a lever. Opel were miles ahead of the opposition with it. Basically it meant you could increase passenger/load space without having to remove the rear-most seats and stow them away. Instead you flipped them forward and they folded flat into the floor. The success has been continued with the second generation. It is based on the current Astra, so there are some changes and enhancements in the cabin to give it a modern look. However, the Flex7 seating remains largely untouched and is as easy as ever to use. It is also still as comfortable inside with the driving position making it a favourite with drivers. It is a big comfortable car to drive especially on the open road where it comes into its own thanks to some excellent engines.
